Description Position Summary The Director of Product Solutions and Strategy is a key member of the Sales team, leveraging technical expertise to support key and strategic customers, the sales team, and leadership in achieving revenue targets. This role demonstrates how VIKEN meets and exceeds customer requirements. Job Summary The Director will support the Sr. Vice President of Sales in achieving revenue targets by assisting the Sales team in showcasing VIKEN’s technologies to key and strategic customers. Responsibilities include providing Strategic collaboration, competitive knowledge share and technical support to prepare for, and during customer visits, demos, and trade shows, as well as offering compliance and proposal support to secure wins for VIKEN. This evolving role will adapt as the business grows and company needs change, with the primary goal of collaborating with the sales team to achieve success for VIKEN. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement/ Sales: Develop Sales Strategies with the Sales team for large scale penetration for US Domestic/Federal/International markets (MTX/MVX/Harrier) Build Training/Education plan for partners/Resellers on how to sell and talk to key features for the largescale portfolio that can translate into customer sales Join the Sales team for large-scale demos (virtual or in-person) for key customer meetings (at VIKEN’s headquarters or at the customers’ site). Travel and Represent VIKEN at key domestic/international Trade Shows with the Sales team where needed. Support the Sales team on calls to engage customers and communicate the benefits of VIKEN’s solutions during presentations Market Analytics: Analyze/Report market trends based on customer interactions with visits/meetings in the field and relay back to product management team Create Models/Business plans alongside the Sales team by product lines vs. competition to be used for current and next Fiscal Year Create Business Strategy/Specification documents to be used by the sales teams and the partners for lock out specifications for pre-tender timelines Internal Liaison: Coordinate customer feedback to R&D, Program Management, and Engineering. Relay competitive information from customer visits to the Direct Sales team. Drive/Coordinate technical updates between the engineering team and customers requests and manage timeframe on prioritization Initiate and Communicate product changes and advancements from engineering to the sales team and vice/versa where applicable Assist with post-sale transitions on large-scale projects, ensuring smooth handoff from Sales to Operations. Technical Support: Collaborate with the Sales team on complex compliance matrices for new projects. Build pricing templates with Sales leadership for quoting product and solution offerings. Ensure datasheets are up to date by relaying feedback from customers and sales. Provide proposal support for complex bids and maintain a repository of examples and templates for the sales team. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field required. Experience: Technical experience and understanding of VIKEN product lines. Experience in related sectors that provide security solutions. Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); intermediate to advanced Excel or Salesforce skills are a plus. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. High degree of flexibility and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
