REQUIREMENTS

  • Production leader with 15+ years’ experience from an Executive Production background, with extensive experience working within or for luxury or elevated fashion brands.
  • Deep knowledge of financial reconciliation and budgetary management
  • An excellent negotiator with great knowledge of appropriate spend for varying levels of talent.
  • Exhibits good judgement to act in best interests of team and business at all times.
  • A can do attitude, and positive approach to managing uncertainty and change - while also able to set parameters and constraints firmly when needed.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving courageous feedback at all levels.

  • Tactful and diplomatic leader able to act with integrity and humility even through challenging periods.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team Leadership: Setting high standards and consistent ways of working for the production team and supporting the team in their development. Leveraging your production expertise and industry network, support the team in problem solving complex creative production conundrums, and ensure that all projects are on track. You will ensure that the right steps are being taken both operationally and creatively as we move through the creative process across our productions.
  • Seasonal Planning: Plan out how the seasons style outs and productions map together and partner with the resource manager and head of creative to plan team resourcing across projects and flag any issues with the VP of Operations.
  • Budget Management: Working with the agreed budget, oversee spend across projects by the producers and capture monthly phasing of spend. Partner with finance on resolving any issues related to the production budget.
  • Partner Relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with production companies, agents, post houses and other vendors involved in shoots.
  • Exec Producing: On bigger productions you will lean in more closely to productions and manage relationships and negotiations with agents of top tier creative talent.
  • Procurement Partnership: Partner with our procurement team to ensure we’re setup for success with the right vendors and agreements in place.
  • Legal Partnership: Partner with legal team on the day to day needs of the production team.
  • Casting – the role is encompassing of casting, you’ll work with the casting manager to ensure the right processes are in place, and strategies for finding new models is supported.
  • Production Range – you will be able to lead the team in coming to the right production approach from a Tier 1 Campaign through to a lean / social approach shoot, and be a driving force in thinking about different approaches to productions and ways to do more with less while keeping high standards appropriate to the level of production.
