ABOUT PROSCIA

Pathology is at the center of medicine and is undergoing a profound transformation as the final frontier of digitization in healthcare. We started Proscia to accelerate pathology’s transition from microscope to images—and to use AI to change the way we think about cancer.
We can’t change medicine alone. That’s why we’re looking for curious thinkers, big dreamers, developers, evangelists, pathologists, and scientists— exceptional talent to help us harness the great power of AI for good and advance humankind.
At Proscia, we push the limits of medicine and technology, solving problems the world has never solved before. We build software used by thousands of scientists and pathologists working on the front lines of fighting big enemies like cancer for patients around the globe. To accelerate our vision, Proscia has raised over $100M in capital from world-class healthcare and technology investors.

CUSTOMER STRATEGY & CORE SKILLS

  • Strategic mindset with a proven ability to set a vision for Professional Services that drives P&L outcomes and supports company KPIs (e.g., gross/net retention).

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale enterprise SaaS deployments, particularly for global pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, academic medical centers, and diagnostic labs.
  • Expertise in structuring customer-facing teams to maximize value delivery across enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments in a multi-vertical model (clinical and life sciences).
  • Ability to design and implement consistent, efficient delivery methodologies that reduce issues and enhance customer outcomes for high-stakes deployments.

  • Global team leadership experience, ideally with prior consulting roles at firms serving biopharma, biotech, or healthcare clients.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and life sciences workflows; experience with pathology, diagnostics, or drug discovery/R&D processes is a strong plus.

  • Proficiency in managing technical teams (e.g., solution architects, implementation consultants) and delivery partners for enterprise-scale projects.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and project management tools to track bookings, revenue, and operational metrics for global accounts.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Professional Services at Proscia, you will lead our global Professional Services organization, driving exceptional software service delivery for enterprise clients across clinical and life sciences markets. Your role will focus on ensuring our digital pathology platform, Concentriq, is architected, implemented, and optimized to deliver transformative outcomes for complex, large-scale deployments at organizations like top-tier biopharma and biotech companies, academic medical centers, diagnostic laboratories, and health systems.
We’re seeking a strategic leader with deep expertise in enterprise SaaS deployments, particularly in healthcare and life sciences IT, who can inspire teams, build credibility with C-suite stakeholders, and scale operations in a high-growth environment. You must embody Proscia’s culture and values, thriving in a dynamic, collaborative, and mission-driven organization. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Channel teams to align professional services with Proscia’s mission to fight cancer through data. This is a career-defining opportunity to shape the future of healthcare at a company driving an industry inflection point.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service Delivery Leadership: Oversee the architecture and delivery of implementation services for Concentriq, ensuring on-time, high-quality project execution for enterprise clients in clinical (e.g., academic medical centers, diagnostic labs) and life sciences (e.g., biopharma, biotech) markets. Drive customer outcomes like time-to-value, adoption, and satisfaction while managing resource allocation and operational metrics.
  • Financial Accountability: Achieve Professional Services financial goals, including revenue, gross margin, and utilization targets. Optimize delivery methodologies to balance efficiency and customer value across large-scale, complex deployments.
  • Global Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global team of 15+ professionals (e.g., solution architects, consultants, project managers). Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability aligned with Proscia’s values.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as an executive sponsor for strategic accounts, building trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders (e.g., CIOs, Heads of Pathology, R&D leaders in biopharma). Serve as an evangelist for Concentriq, assisting Sales in deal cycles and ensuring customer needs shape service delivery.
  • Partner Ecosystem Development: Collaborate with the Channel team to build and manage a global network of certified delivery partners, ensuring consistent quality and scalability for enterprise deployments.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to align go-to-market strategies, influence product roadmaps, and drive customer lifecycle milestones for both clinical and life sciences clients.
  • Operational Scaling: Build and refine global Professional Services operations (people, processes, systems, tools) to deliver best-in-class experiences while maintaining efficiency in a high-growth SaaS model.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of healthcare and life sciences IT workflows (e.g., pathology, diagnostics, drug discovery) to position Proscia as a trusted partner for enterprise clients, including 16 of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies.
