Description Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Director of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a full-time leadership opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas. Under the supervision of the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Progressive Care provides 24-hour accountability and oversight for the effective and efficient operation of the Progressive Care Unit. This leader is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and staff development in alignment with the hospital’s mission, values, and strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities: • Provide 24-hour accountability for clinical, operational, and financial performance of the Progressive Care Unit • Direct, plan, organize, and evaluate nursing care delivery in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies • Collaborate with executive nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care • Lead staffing, productivity, quality, and performance improvement initiatives • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional nursing practice • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and evidence-based care models Compensation & Benefits: • Salary Range (based on RN leadership experience): – Minimum: $100,000 – Midpoint: $118,747 – Maximum: $142,506 • Sign-On Bonus: Case by case • Relocation Assistance: Case by case Requirements Licensure & Education: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or valid compact license (compact state must be primary residence) • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred Experience & Certifications: • Minimum of 2 years of RECENT acute care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) leadership experience required • Basic Life Support (BLS) required • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
