Job Description Multi-site Dermatology Group Seeks Director of Project Management Optima Dermatology is recruiting a Director of Project Management to join our team! Position Details The Director of Project Management is responsible for driving high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that improve execution, scalability, and profitability across the organization. This role will focus on process improvement, prioritization, and implementation of company-wide projects that unlock team capacity and deliver measurable financial and operational value. This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the executive team and corporate department heads to support Optima Dermatology’s short-term priorities and long-term vision. Responsibilities Lead 2–3 high-impact, cross-functional initiatives at any given time from scoping through implementation and sustained adoption, with a clear focus on validated EBITDA improvement Establish and maintain a governance model for initiative selection, prioritization, and sequencing in partnership with the COO and executive team Define baseline performance, target outcomes, and ROI expectations at the outset of each initiative - and track results through 90+ days post-implementation to confirm sustained impact Drive organizational execution velocity by identifying stalled initiatives, removing bottlenecks, and holding cross-functional teams accountable to milestones Improve operational consistency and scalability across clinic and corporate functions through durable process design, documentation, and workflow standardization Manage change with care - ensuring providers, practice leaders, and all key stakeholders are aligned, informed, and satisfied before, during, and after major initiative transitions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, healthcare, or equivalent business experience 1–5 years of experience in operations, project management, consulting, or similar roles Demonstrated ability to drive execution and deliver measurable outcomes Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to influence and lead without direct authority Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Highly proficient with spreadsheet, presentation, and business analysis tools Willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with attention to detail Compensation The position will offer competitive compensation, including the opportunity for performance-based incentives tied to the successful execution of high-impact initiatives.
