As Director of Public Relations and Communications of Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, you will helm a team of exceptional professionals dedicated to delivering the legendary Four Seasons experience. About the Role As Director of Public Relations and Communications for Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, you will be a key member of the Commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Director. You will lead all public relations, communications, and media engagement initiatives, positioning the hotel as one of Asia’s most anticipated luxury openings. You will be responsible for shaping the property’s brand narrative, developing integrated communication strategies, and building strong relationships with local and international media, influencers, and community partners. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations, you will drive awareness, advocacy, and engagement that enhance the hotel’s reputation and commercial success. This is a hands-on, creative, and strategic role for a passionate communicator who can blend storytelling, brand alignment, and business impact. What You Will Do Lead Communications Strategy: Develop and execute an annual public relations and communications plan that aligns with the hotel’s Commercial Plan and overall business objectives. Build the Brand: Craft compelling stories and key messages that highlight Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi’s design, people, and experiences, ensuring alignment with global brand standards. Manage Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media, journalists, and influencers in Vietnam, Asia-Pacific, and key international markets to secure high-quality coverage. Oversee Content Creation: Manage the production of press releases, media kits, speeches, and digital assets; ensure consistent tone, storytelling, and accuracy across all communication materials. Act as Spokesperson: Serve as the hotel’s media representative, managing interviews, press enquiries, and crisis communications with professionalism and discretion. Plan Media & Influencer Engagements: Organise press trips, media events, and brand activations that generate awareness and buzz for the hotel’s restaurants, spa, and experiences. Drive Digital Visibility: Collaborate with Marketing to integrate PR initiatives into digital, social, and influencer strategies, amplifying reach and engagement. Crisis Preparedness: Develop and maintain crisis communication protocols; act as a key advisor to the General Manager and senior leadership on sensitive communication matters. Measure & Report: Track media coverage, share of voice, and campaign performance; prepare regular reports and insights for senior management and ownership. Foster Community Relations: Represent the hotel in local events, partnerships, and corporate social responsibility initiatives that strengthen the property’s connection with the community. Collaborate Regionally: Work closely with Four Seasons’ Corporate and Regional PR teams to align global campaigns and share best practices. What You Bring Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in public relations or communications, ideally within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands. Proven success in developing and executing high-impact PR and communications strategies across multiple markets. Strong media network with established relationships in Vietnam, Asia-Pacific, and key international markets. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate brand values into engaging narratives. Creativity and strategic thinking, combined with strong project management and organisational skills. Experience managing crisis communications, media interviews, and spokesperson responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and represent the brand externally. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Genuine passion for luxury hospitality, culture, and storytelling.
