ABOUT THE TEAM

The Engineering Team is responsible for all technology at Bestow and the Bestow Platform. We serve employees, consumers, and enterprise customers. Engineering works closely with product management and design to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
We’re seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead our QA strategy and build a world-class program. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll be responsible for establishing QA processes, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring our insurance software solutions are reliable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise in a fast-paced startup environment.
The position requires expertise in the use of best-in-class tools and processes, especially AI-enabled testing tools. Candidates must have experience in managing testing programs in a complex environment including frequent deployments, independently released components, feature flagging, and distributed systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
• Advanced automation and performance testing tools experience
• Linux systems and database testing experience
• QA certification (ISTQB, CSTE) or startup/scale-up experience
• Experience building QA metrics dashboards and reporting systems
