POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Quality is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes within the organization, particularly in the food and beverage sector.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with a focus on the food and beverage industry.
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance in food/bev

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control programs to ensure product compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead a team of quality control professionals to monitor and improve product quality throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and regulatory teams to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Establish training programs for staff on quality standards and best practices to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt quality processes accordingly.
