We’re looking for a Director of Retail Operations who shares our passion for service and innovation to lead our regional breaktime retail operations.
This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and knows how to build strong teams, maintain client satisfaction, and deliver results.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in vending, foodservice, or convenience retail.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent customer service mindset with a commitment to delivering value on every client visit.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, control costs, and support P&L performance.
  • Tech-savvy and willing to learn key operational systems like Vendsys, SmartHQ, ADM, and Lightspeed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Must be able to travel regionally and occasionally stay overnight.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations across all micro markets and vending accounts in your assigned division.
  • Lead, train, and manage retail teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients—ensuring satisfaction, retention, and timely issue resolution.
  • Drive performance by analyzing retail reports, controlling waste, monitoring labor, and improving collection accuracy.
  • Support new business launches, including market installs, client presentations, and grand openings.
  • Maintain retail merchandising excellence and ensure planogram and promotional compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure proper inventory levels and product availability.
  • Create staffing plans and service schedules that balance operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Uphold a clean, safe, and service-ready fleet and workplace environment.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through regular team communication.
