Overview
This is a leadership role focused on managing the financial aspects of patient care from order to cash. This position oversees the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring efficient billing, compliance, and reimbursement for all services rendered. The Director manages all revenue cycle activities including insurance verification, claims processing, billing and collections and payment posting. This role will oversee the revenue cycle operation for the PCS business for the enterprise encompassing several state locations with associated staff management.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Advanced education or college degree preferred or equivalent experience in revenue cycle order to cash processes.
  • 10 Plus years in healthcare revenue cycle management with a focus on medical billing and reimbursement, with a minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: to effectively lead and motivate a team to success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • History or track record of success in Revenue Cycle operations

  • Financial Performance: This role is responsible for maximizing revenue, optimizing billing processes and ensuring timely and accurate claims submission.
  • Compliance: The Director role ensures adherence to all healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and payer specific guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: This role will lead and mentor a team of professionals involved in the revenue cycle, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Process Improvement: The Director identifies areas for improvement in the revenue cycle operation, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reducing denials and adjustments and improving consistent cash flow.
  • Communication: This role will effectively communicate with various stakeholders including patients, insurance companies and internal operational departments and leadership, to address issues and resolve discrepancies, providing updates as needed.
  • Financial Analysis: The Director role will analyze financial data, identify trends and develops reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
