Description

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end revenue cycle operations for renal/nephrology operations. This role ensures efficient billing processes, maximizes revenue capture, and maintains compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, preferably proficiency in renal care and a strong background in managing teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
· Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-site operations.
· In-depth understanding of nephrology billing practices, including ESRD and CKD services, and familiarity with hospital billing procedures.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) or similar certification is highly desirable.
· Proven experience managing outsourced offshore revenue cycle functions, with a focus on performance monitoring, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness.
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Billing, Collections, and Cash Posting departments to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize analytics and reporting tools to identify areas of improvement and prioritize workflows.
  • Monitor claim rejections and zero payment for trends and corrections
  • Verify the accuracy of charges, claims, and invoice billing to reduce errors and increase the rate of successful payments.
  • Reconcile daily cash deposits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Promptly follow up on documentation requests to facilitate timely payments.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to strategize on revenue cycle improvements and address any challenges.
