Job Description Director of Revenue Management We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue Management to join our team at the five-star Fairmont Jakarta. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue optimization strategies to maximize our Hotel's financial performance. What you will be doing: Lead the development and execution of revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory across all channels. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data to forecast demand and make informed pricing decisions. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives. Oversee the management of distribution channels and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities. Develop and maintain a robust reporting system to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights. Implement and optimize revenue management systems and tools to enhance decision-making processes. Present revenue performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in hotel revenue management to maintain a competitive edge. Drive the hotel annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to financial targets. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in revenue management within a five-star hotel establishment or equivalent field, demonstrating a proven track record of exceptional performance. Comprehensive expertise in advanced revenue optimization strategies and techniques is essential. Superior analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into strategic, actionable plans. Demonstrated proficiency in hotel revenue management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and data visualization tools (such as IDEAS G3, TARS, and similar platforms). Exemplary leadership abilities, with a history of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams in a demanding environment. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, suitable for high-level executive interactions. Strategic thinking capabilities with the proven ability to make decisive, data-driven decisions in critical situations. In-depth, current knowledge of market dynamics and industry trends is crucial. Advanced problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail are imperative. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure and focus. Substantial experience in the hospitality or travel industry is mandatory. Possession of a certification in Food & Beverage Revenue Management is a high-priority requirement.
