Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Director of RGS Programme and Project Management, who will be accountable for the delivery of a global project portfolio for Global Major Accounts (GMA), leading, nurturing and developing a matrixed and direct team of Programme, Project and PMO resources.
This role will provide support and advice on project / programme governance for the P&PM team and will manage high level escalations. Whilst also owning the tactical and strategic changes in order to align and synchronise P&PM policies, processes, procedures plus taking into account regional / local needs and existing ways of working in a highly matrixed environment.

What you will be doing

  • Team leadership, development and management; ensure SMART objectives are set for each role in the team as defined in the Job Family Matrix (JFM).
  • Nurturing and developing internal talent across PM and Programme Leads supporting their growth and development.
  • Ensure delivery of contractual obligations at a global level, across the project lifecycle
  • Customer focused approach, working across complex programmes and projects globally and driving organisational change.
  • Input into the bid process to capture the commercials and deliverables related to global project delivery
  • Project Portfolio Management and associated executive level reporting
  • Lead high visibility programmes (hands-on)
  • Act as a functional lead for P&PM in Ricoh
  • Harmonization, synchronising and alignment of processes, procedures, work instructions and automation
  • Resource forecasting, budgeting, allocation and variance reporting on a project portfolio level
  • Drive Continuous Service Improvement (lessons learned) and drive internal business change projects/programmes to improve CSAT, productivity and efficiency
  • Identify revenue opportunities through commercial and project change control

You will ideally have

  • Extensive and proven project and programme management experience at a Global Level
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop global teams across Project Management and Programme Lead roles
  • Strong experience leading governance and troubleshooting problems where needed.
  • Knowledge of a variety of project management methodologies, with relevant qualifications/certifications
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of financial reports
  • Significant experience of working in a matrix structure at a Global Level
  • Experience of working with multiple cultures, preferably across a global footprint
  • Extensive experience of managing and leading team to deliver customer projects (solutions and managed services)
  • Experience of implementing a project governance structure within a Global PMO
  • Proven ability to be innovative and to implement new initiatives.
  • Desirable experience of working in or with other operational functions such as Service Management
  • Strong commitment to ensuring a positive customer service experience.
  • Strong communication skills via a variety of media, with clarity and focus in messaging
  • Able to communicate to a diverse stakeholder group up to and including CxO level
  • Proven ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting time-frames.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail, ability to drive change aligned with the company strategy
  • Highly IT literate and experienced in business applications, e.g.: Office 365, MS PowerBI and Project Management toolsets.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with ability to work productively as part of cross functional teams.
  • The ability to work with tact, diplomacy and a high level of confidentiality. Several years’ experience in leading a portfolio of global or regional projects or complex international programmes
  • Substantial years of experience in project management of multi-million projects for private sector customers
  • Programme or Project Portfolio Director background within a commercial environment (IT Service Provider)
  • Ideally have experience in deploying standardization and best practice aligned to industry known standards (Prince2/PMBOK, ITIL)
  • Ideally have extensive experience in IT projects related to
  • Hardware deployment
  • Software deployment (COTS products/SaaS)
  • Cloud services
  • Integration Services
  • Global service transitions inclusive of desk-side support, remote infrastructure management, remote application support, global service desks (including service management toolsets such as ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity of SIAM
