Description

BE PART OF SOMETHING UNCOMMON

At Langdon Hall, we believe in creating more than just memorable experiences — we create a sense of place. As a proud member of Relais & Châteaux, we offer our guests and team members a haven of warmth, authenticity, and refined comfort in the heart of Ontario’s countryside.
Built on heritage and rooted in hospitality, Langdon Hall is not just a hotel — it’s a community. Unlike corporate brands, we are privately owned, values-driven, and proudly Canadian. Our culture is built on relationships: with our guests, with our land, and with one another.
If you’re seeking more than just a job — if you want to belong to a team where your contribution matters — we’d love to meet you.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in Rooms Division or similar hotel operations.
  • Has proven experience leading diverse teams in luxury hospitality environments.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and service metrics.
  • Has excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrates a proficiency in PMS systems (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Relevant experience is always an asset — but we also believe in training for skill and hiring for heart.

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring for the position of Director of Rooms. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and oversight for Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Experience teams
  • Ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence across all Rooms Division functions
  • Aligning departmental goals with overall hotel strategy and service standards
  • Monitoring guest feedback and KPIs to drive continuous service improvements
  • Managing Rooms Division budgets, labor forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Supporting revenue growth through occupancy management and upselling initiatives
  • Fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture with strong coaching and development
  • Collaborating with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and property-wide alignment
  • Representing the Rooms Division in executive planning, budgeting, and service initiatives

You’ll be part of a passionate, dedicated team that takes pride in what we do and in where we do it.
