Director of Music – Church of the Resurrection (New Albany, Ohio) Church of the Resurrection is seeking a full-time Director of Music to lead and strengthen our parish music ministry. This mission-critical role works closely with the pastor – Fr. Dave Sizemore, music teams, and staff to support the parish mission: to make disciples and disciple-makers.   Our liturgical music reflects a balanced approach of traditional sacred music, contemporary music, and worship and praise music, helping parishioners worship God more deeply.   The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic in good standing who loves Jesus Christ, loves people, and desires to serve the Church through prayerful, faithful, and beautiful liturgical music. Responsibilities include coordinating music for parish liturgies, directing choirs and cantors, developing musicians, and collaborating with parish leadership.   Qualifications include knowledge of Catholic liturgy and liturgical music, proficiency in piano/keyboard and choral direction, and at least 3 years of parish or similar music leadership experience.
