This senior role requires a visionary leader with strong sales expertise, strategic marketing insight, and the ability to inspire teams while building lasting relationships with customers and partners. Some duties include: Lead the hotel’s overall commercial strategy, aligning sales, marketing, events, rooms, and food & beverage initiatives to drive revenue and long-term success. Develop and execute short- and long-term sales, marketing, and business strategies to achieve revenue goals and grow market share. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to identify opportunities and adapt strategies as needed. Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, and the execution of key sales programs and initiatives. Build strong relationships with clients, tourism partners, airport and community organizations, and third-party travel partners. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in hotel sales and marketing, with a strong ability to inspire teams and drive results. Experience in hospitality, tourism, or a related industry, with a solid understanding of commercial strategy and revenue management. A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and building strong team culture. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging clients, partners, media, and team members alike. Comfortable working with data, forecasting, and budgets, with the ability to turn insights into action. Tech-savvy and confident using hotel and business systems, including Opera and Microsoft Office platforms. A natural connector who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings energy, creativity, and curiosity to the role. Previous experience in a Director of Sales & Marketing role is an asset.
