WHO WE ARE

OnYourMark Education is a high-dosage virtual tutoring service providing individualized early literacy virtual foundational skills instruction to elementary students grounded in the science of reading. We partner with schools as a supplement to the literacy instruction already in place to ensure students get the foundational reading skills they need to excel!

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Sales and Strategic Partnerships plays a critical role in expanding OnYourMark’s impact by executing against a sales strategy to secure new partnerships. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnerships, this role will act as an individual contributor and own growth strategies for its assigned regions while guiding full-cycle new business sales. This role is ideal for a mission-driven sales professional with a track record of closing large-scale education deals and a deep understanding of the K–12 ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in education sales and/or education business development roles.
  • Proven success closing large, multi-year K–12 district, charter, and/or state contracts.
  • Deep understanding of early literacy initiatives, the Science of Reading, and funding mechanisms (e.g., Title I, ESSER, state grants).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior education leaders.
  • High proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and pipeline reporting.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a mission-driven, high-growth organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for partner cultivation and in-person meetings.
