SUMMARY OF POSITION

EnviroVantage - leading Environmental Contractor is seeking a talented, proven Business Development professional to lead the Business Development and Sales teams. This role will be based out of New England.

  • Proven experience developing and implementing a successful five (5) year strategic business development plan
  • Demonstrated experience being a collaborator as part of a larger leadership team and contributing to an overall corporate strategic plan
  • Proven experience managing a team of business development/sales representatives across multiple cities/states
  • Demonstrated experience being a collaborator as part of a larger leadership team and contributing to an overall corporate strategic plan
  • Demonstrated ability to hit and exceed established metrics on an annual basis
  • 20+ Years of experience In the Environmental industry
  • Have a deep working knowledge of state and federal regulations in the environmental space and leverage it to generate new business opportunities for EnviroVantage and expanding current service offerings with existing clients
  • Have strong working knowledge of current industry leaders in Environmental Engineering and General Construction across the US, with a focus on New England
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong relationships in the industry and articulate in the interview process a vision for what good looks like in the first 90 and 180 days
  • Must have proven experience bringing together multiple successful multi-million dollar projects with environmental consultants and environmental contractors
  • Must be able to travel across New England as needed to facilitate meetings
  • Must be able to attend project site visits on occasion and understand what to look for
  • Demonstrated commitment to participating in and attending industry associated groups, conferences and events

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sedentary Work: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods (up to 6 hours per day) with occasional standing and walking.
  • Lifting: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Vision: Must be able to read standard text and see objects at a distance of up to 20 feet.
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear and understand conversations in a typical office environment.
  • Mobility: Must be able to navigate office spaces, including accessing file cabinets and office machinery.
