OVERVIEW

Are sales and revenue generation your passion? If so, the Courtyard By Marriott Indianapolis Airport Director of Sales position could be perfect for you! The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales and revenue generation at the Courtyard. This is a great opportunity add corporate accounts and group business at a full service hotel. This property is part of the Modern Management portfolio of hotels. Modern Management both owns and manages its properties. Modern Management owns and operates eight properties in the mid-west so opportunities for advancement are available.
Our company provides Insurance benefits, paid holidays off, and PTO based up hours worked.

SKILLS

  • Strong background hospitality sales, preferably in the Indianapolis Airport Market.
  • Previous experience with the Marriott Family of hotels is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in business development within relevant markets. .

    Pay: $64,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new group and corporate account business in the Indianapolis Airport Market.
  • Meet and exceed booking and solicitation goals.
  • Create value added proposals that demonstrate benefits versus discounting rates.
  • Strengthen relationships with current accounts to drive additional revenue.
  • Negotiate group contracts and LNR agreements.
  • Attend revenue meetings with the General Manager and corporate team; make rate recommendations.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team progress to senior management.
