We are now looking for a Director of Sales to lead, expand, and drive our sales team to the next level.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Proven Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in a sales leadership role within the renewable energy sector (PPAs, solar farms, commercial solar, or maintenance).
- Sales Expertise: Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly in renewable energy projects.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead successful sales teams.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of renewable energy markets, regulations, and technologies. Experience with power purchase agreements is essential.
- Networking Ability: Established network of contacts within the renewable energy, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and develop strategic initiatives.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Sales will spearhead our business development and sales strategies for renewable energy solutions. You will take ownership of sales growth across key verticals, including:
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- Large-scale solar farms
- Commercial and industrial solar systems
- Maintenance and support services
As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with the executive team, contribute to strategic planning, and drive initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will also have the freedom to build and lead your own sales team, ensuring we have the best talent in the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy that aligns with company goals. Drive business growth in PPAs, solar farms, commercial solar installations, and maintenance services.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Cultivate a collaborative, results-driven culture that supports professional growth and success.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, councils, industries, and other key stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities and results.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all sales activities are compliant with industry standards and company policies. Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team.
