Our client, a well-established and service-forward hotel, is seeking a Director of Sales to lead and inspire a dynamic sales team. With over 100 guest rooms, flexible event space, and multiple F&B outlets, this full-service property offers the perfect platform for a results-oriented sales strategist to make their mark. As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving overall revenue performance across group, corporate, and leisure segments. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop and execute the sales strategy, and foster key client relationships to ensure consistent market growth. Working closely with the General Manager and brand support teams, your focus will be on maximizing occupancy, ADR, and event revenues while maintaining high service standards. $90,000 base plus bonus

DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement annual sales plans aligned with the property’s revenue goals
  • Lead, coach, and support a high-performing sales team, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel planners, and event organizers
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to optimize RevPAR and market share
  • Represent the property at key industry events, trade shows, and local business initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and revenue management to drive performance across all segments

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead a team and exceed revenue targets in a competitive market
  • Deep understanding of group, corporate, and catering sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience with sales CRM systems and revenue management tools
  • A hands-on, proactive, and strategic mindset
