Director of Sales – Industrial Sales
Location: Remote
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

Mission
To drive revenue growth and market share in industrial sectors by leading strategic sales efforts, developing new business, and building lasting client relationships — all while fostering a high-performance, customer-centric sales culture.
Key Outcomes (First 12–18 Months)
- Revenue Growth:
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets in industrial market segments.
- Secure new industrial accounts while expanding opportunities within existing relationships.
- Pipeline Development & Management:
- Maintain a robust pipeline at 3x quota through consistent prospecting and lead generation.
- Improve forecasting accuracy with disciplined CRM usage and reporting.
- Market & Competitive Insight:
- Conduct research to identify industry trends, competitive moves, and emerging opportunities.
- Use insights to adjust sales strategies and differentiate Future Technologies in the market.
- Client Relationship Excellence:
- Build strong executive-level relationships with key industrial customers.
- Achieve high customer satisfaction scores through responsive support and solutions alignment.
- Team & Collaboration:
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, and delivery teams for go-to-market alignment.
- Contribute to sales playbook development, pricing strategy, and proposal excellence.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new industrial business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level decision-makers.
- Present, promote, and sell solutions aligned with client needs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate and close contracts while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with peers to meet collective revenue and growth goals.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable market intelligence.
- Accurately document sales activities and maintain organized records.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events for networking and market insights.
- Stay current on company offerings, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 6+ years of proven success in sales, preferably in industrial markets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and industrial buying cycles.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (5+ years).
