This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the sales and marketing strategies for our luxury hotel property in one of the world's most unique cultural destinations. Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive market share, revenue growth, and brand strength Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and customer segments Oversee the development and execution of strategic account plans for key demand generators in the market Manage and optimize all sales channels, leveraging both on-property resources and above-property sales engines Collaborate with operations departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall hotel objectives Serve as the customer advocate within the organization, ensuring guest satisfaction and fostering customer loyalty Direct PR efforts and manage relationships with external agencies and media outlets Develop and manage the annual sales and marketing budget, ensuring ROI-driven decision making Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive business growth Conduct regular sales activities, including sales calls, site inspections, and client entertainment Stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge in the luxury hospitality market Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Director role within the luxury hospitality industry Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market Strong knowledge of the luxury consortia business and global hospitality trends Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in hotel management software such as Opera and Delphi Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience in digital marketing strategies and social media management Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions Excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders Experience in managing PR activities and media relations Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment Willingness to travel as required for sales activities and industry events Additional Information experience is an asset Prior experience working with Opera or a related system Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus Job-Category: Sales & Marketing Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
