Job Description The Director of Sales & Marketing thrives on shaping strategy, driving growth, and enhancing every touchpoint of the hotel’s market presence. Craft and execute Sales & Marketing strategies across domestic and international markets, positioning the hotel as the destination of choice for luxury travellers. Lead, mentor, and empower the Sales & Marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and measurable results. Set, manage, and deliver on budgets for Sales, Marketing, and Conference & Events Sales departments while driving commercial performance. Monitor market trends, competitor insights, and economic conditions, adapting strategies to maximise occupancy, RevPAR, and market share. Prepare insightful reports, track KPIs, forecast Meetings & Events revenue, and provide actionable guidance to the Executive Team and General Manager. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, building the brand and generating meaningful connections. Lead client meetings, sales trips, and promotional initiatives that raise visibility and attract new business. Qualifications 5 to 6 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel Significant experience in Sales and Marketing within luxury hotels in the UAE Demonstrated ability to source and convert key business opportunities Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field Strategic thinker, pro-active and focused on achieving results Strong knowledge of marketing streams, digital and social media Ability to lead, supervise and coordinate a multi-skilled team Passionate for luxury and knowledgeable about opportunities in the segment Proficiency in hotel management systems and software Well-refined sales techniques, customer relationship management, communication and negotiation skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
