DoubleTree by Hilton Laredo, a new hotel in Laredo, TX, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to shape and optimize our hotel’s sales landscape. POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Director of Sales at the DoubleTree by Hilton you will lead the hotel’s sales efforts by developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue, grow market share, and exceed customer expectations. You will be accountable for achieving room revenue targets, building strong customer relationships, and promoting the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in alignment with Hilton’s high service and quality standards. QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
· 3–5 years of progressive sales leadership experience in a full-service hotel environment.
· Strong knowledge of Hilton systems including Delphi.fdc, OnQ, and the Hilton Sales Platform (HSP).
· Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering high client satisfaction.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (due to regional market needs).
· Knowledge of Laredo market a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to travel locally and occasionally regionally for sales calls and industry events.
