Summary
The Director of Sales & Marketing plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and maximising occupancy through the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives. This leadership position oversees the Sales and Marketing function at Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars, shaping the property’s commercial direction by creating and implementing comprehensive strategies to attract guests, boost bookings, and elevate brand visibility. The role is responsible for formulating and executing sales and marketing plans that align with business objectives and achieve targeted revenue goals.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement the Hotel Sales and Marketing Strategy to achieve forecasted and budgeted revenues.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly revenue forecasting.
  • Manage and monitor team performance, setting incentive targets and coaching for results.
  • Oversee digital presence and ensure alignment with brand standards across all marketing collateral.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through direct sales efforts, trade events, and strategic networking.
  • Ensure contract compliance and best practices in sales processes and systems.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to optimise revenue opportunities and support business needs.
  • Maintain administrative and financial controls, including departmental budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
