We are looking for a commercially driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth. Your day-to-day You will be responsible for: * Developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue and market share. * Leading and mentoring the Sales team, Marketing Coordinator, and Reservations team to achieve business objectives. * Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate, group, leisure, and travel partners. * Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts. * Working closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to maximise commercial performance. * Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth. * Managing sales-related budgets and ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve commercial objectives. What we're looking for * Proven experience in hotel sales. Prior experience as a BDM, BDD, DOS or DOSM is preferred * Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering results. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. * The ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. * A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. * Flexibility to attend after work functions and travel outside of Queenstown for work.
