Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales - MICE to join our team in the beautiful island destination of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sales strategies and maximizing revenue opportunities for our world-class facilities. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed MICE revenue targets Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the domestic and international MICE markets Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of MICE events Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and pricing decisions Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts and proposals for large-scale MICE events Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 7-10 years of experience in MICE sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams Strong strategic thinking and revenue management skills Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools Advanced budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills Outstanding presentation and public speaking abilities In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry, current trends, and best practices Understanding of the hospitality and tourism sector in Vietnam and the broader Asia-Pacific region Experience working with international markets and diverse cultural backgrounds Professional certifications such as CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or CITP (Certified Incentive Travel Professional) preferred Fluency in English required; proficiency in Vietnamese or other Asian languages is a plus Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required Additional Information What awaits you...
