Description We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales team and oversee both direct and channel sales efforts. OneCloud’s Director of Sales will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance overall sales performance. Director of Sales is responsible for leading our sales team in both direct and channel sales efforts. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance overall sales performance. Requires a balanced sales effort involving sales/account management skills and product knowledge/problem-solving/solution skills. Coordinates the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives, including achievement of product sales/solution sales goals. Drives necessary sales activity levels and opportunity qualification and generates sufficient sales funnel volume to meet/exceed assigned sales revenue targets. Duties/Responsibilities Provide strong leadership to the Sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Manage and lead the direct sales team to drive sales of our products/services to individual clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships. Develop and nurture relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers. Collaborate with channel partners to drive sales and increased market penetration. Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans that align with the overall business strategy. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate sales performance. Implement corrective actions to address any deviations from sales targets. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities. Foster a continuous learning environment to keep the team updated on industry trends. Drive new business and upsell opportunities within existing accounts. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions. Leverage customer feedback to drive product enhancements and improve the overall customer experience. Requirements Qualifications: Five years (5) years of progressive experience telecommunications and/or technology sales preferred Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a track record of driving revenue growth Demonstrated success in managing both direct and channel sales teams. Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and market dynamics. Professional and comprehensive understanding of project management principles that are relevant and applicable. Professional and comprehensive understanding of financial reporting of project results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in public speaking and delivering effective presentations. Cross-disciplinary collaborations and interactions with external vendors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. Prior experience in Unified Communications, Telecom, VoIP, SaaS solutions, or similar industry preferred. Results-oriented with a focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Experience in Account Planning, Forecasting, Product Service/Solution Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Willing and able to travel to meet clients/potential clients. A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
