We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the Director of Sales position at our Corporate office in Cleveland, OH, reporting directly to the CEO. JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Sales is responsible for driving exceptional sales growth for Presrite. This role not only directly works with our blue chip customers but also manages our internal and external sales teams. This position is responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. Specific responsibilities include strategic direction for business and market development, sales growth, customer management and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a proven influential leader with significant metal/steel industry experience in a make-to-print environment - with forging experience a strong plus. You must have exceptional project management skills, a record of building high-performance teams, and outstanding relationships with internal and external customers. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have B2B experience with energy, construction, agriculture, off-road, and defense/military industries. Periodic travel is required. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive) - Develops and executes strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. - Analyzes sales statistics to formulate forecasts and drive strategic planning. - Meets with key clients in person, assisting inside and outside sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals. - Works individually and through the sales team to increase market share. - Analyzes ways to obtain new customers through market analysis, and following inside and outside leads. - Attends trade shows to increase customer visibility & market share. - Build and maintain customer relationships. - Prepare reports on sales performance, forecasting, and business transactions. - Utilize and manage the CRM system to optimize performance. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in the business administration or technical related field preferred; or other Bachelor’s degrees in combination with relevant work experience. • Minimum 10 years progressive experience in B2B sales and marketing with demonstrated success in the metal/steel industry (forging industry a strong plus). • Strong teamwork, negotiation, and collaboration skills. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. • Ability to accurately develop pricing, discounts, commissions, etc. • Ability to present complex data to all levels of the organization. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent computer skills to run multiple software applications, such as Excel, Word, Notes, databases, and CRM systems. • Self-motivated with high attention to detail. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
