We are looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Sales to join our leadership team and drive the resort’s commercial success through clear strategic direction, exceptional client relationships, and a dynamic approach to achieving revenue growth. Job Description Strategic Leadership & Revenue Generation Develop, lead, and execute the resort’s commercial strategy to achieve and exceed budgeted revenues across Rooms, Meetings & Events, F&B, and other revenue streams. Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new opportunities and proactively respond to market trends. Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to optimize pricing, segmentation, and positioning strategies. Team Leadership & Development Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Sales & Events team, fostering a culture of “Yes I Can!” service and accountability. Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching to ensure targets are consistently achieved. Build cross-departmental collaboration to ensure smooth delivery of client commitments and guest expectations. Client Relationships & Business Development Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, MICE agencies, and government partners. Represent the resort at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums to maximize exposure and business opportunities. Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of new and repeat business to secure long-term growth. Reporting & Forecasting Oversee accurate and timely month-end and quarterly reporting, including revenue analysis, pace reports, and market performance reviews. Provide strategic insights to the General Manager and Radisson Area Support teams to drive informed decision-making. Ensure robust systems and processes are in place to support data-driven strategies. Qualifications Previous hotel experience at Director of Sales level is essential — preferably within the luxury hospitality sector and ideally within the GCC market. Fluent Arabic is essential; excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are also required. Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and delivering strong commercial results. Strong strategic planning and commercial acumen, with the ability to turn insights into actionable results. Excellent leadership skills, with a passion for motivating and empowering teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and key clients. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Radisson systems (e.g., Emma, SalesForce, Radisson Meetings tools) is an advantage.
