Description
We are not just a place to stay, we are a hub for discovery, a connector to the spirit of Austin, and a destination where curiosity is rewarded. Our guests come to us seeking something authentic, unexpected, and deeply local. Austin is a city of creators, entrepreneurs and explorers, and our hotel sits at the intersection of it all! We’re looking for a Director of Sales  who doesn’t just drive revenue—but who shapes how our hotel is experienced before a guest ever arrives. In this role, you will define how the market sees us, how travelers choose us, and how the energy of Austin comes to life through every group, partnership, and segment we serve. You are equal parts strategist, storyteller, and connector—someone who understands that how we sell the hotel is inseparable from how it’s experienced. What You’ll Do  * Shape and execute a sales strategy that reflects the spirit, culture, creativity, and energy of Austin, capturing group, corporate, leisure and catering demand across market segments. * Position the hotel as an experience destination, not just a booking decision. * Lead, inspire, motivate and develop an exceptional sales team to exceed revenue targets. * Build relationships that go beyond transactions, creating long-term partnerships within the community and across key markets. * Collaborate across departments to ensure the story we sell is the experience we deliver. * Lead weekly and monthly executive-level presentations for ownership and senior leaders. What We’re Looking For * A leader who understands the power of brand, storytelling, and positioning—not just numbers. * Demonstrated success driving team performance and delivering measurable results through effective leadership. * A strategic thinker with a creative edge who can balance data with intuition, building trust and accountability with ownership and their team. * Highly fluent in Marriott systems and sales platforms, leveraging GDS and Consortia programs to create opportunity, drive strategic account growth, and outperform the market. Benefits We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time associates, including: * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Life insurance and short/long-term disability options * 401(k) program with company match * Tuition assistance * Discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels * Training & development opportunities * Career advancement within our growing portfolio Why Join Concord? At Concord Hospitality, we invest deeply in our associates through training and development at all levels, from interns to executives. Our “Associate First” culture nurtures personal and professional growth within the workplace and beyond. We value work-life balance, diversity, and our commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and quality accommodations in every market we serve. Concord Hospitality is built on five Cornerstones: Quality, Integrity, Community, Profitability, and FUN! Our associates embody these values and proudly cheer our company motto heard across North America: This is Concord! This is your opportunity to lead boldly, think differently, and create something that truly feels alive in its market. If this sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.   Salary Range:  $160,000 - $175,000
