JOB SUMMARY:

The role of Sales Strategy & Development will minimize customer churn and optimize the customer lifecycle. This role involves contacting prospects who didn’t convert, those who trialed services and customers who canceled to understand their reasons and develop new sales and retention strategies. The ideal candidate should have sales expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a data-driven approach.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years in sales, customer service, or account management, with a track record of exceeding customer satisfaction goals are needed.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data visualization tools are required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are necessary.
  • Strategic mindset and business acumen.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively is necessary.
  • Empathy, patience, and strong conflict resolution skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Outreach & Analysis: Reach out to non-converting prospects and churned customers to understand their reasons. Analyze feedback and data to identify trends related to churn and non-conversion. Collaborate with sales and marketing based on these insights.
  • Strategy Development: Develop new sales strategies based on gathered insights. Work with the product team to translate customer feedback into product improvements. Refine ideal customer profiles and buyer personas.
  • Retention & Advocacy: Implement proactive retention initiatives. Act as a customer advocate and address concerns. Identify and nurture brand advocates.
  • Performance Tracking: Track key metrics like win/loss ratio, churn rate, and customer lifetime value. Report findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Tooling Development: Develop/advise on tooling platforms that will increase and develop customer success and increase sales opportunities.
