Job Summary The Sales Director – Denver Region position is designed for a competitive individual who excels in a team-focused environment and is driven by financial success. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for both direct sales performance and full-cycle management of the sales process. It requires a balance between strategic oversight and active business development, with the objective of driving Unify Energy Solutions’ expansion through the identification of new opportunities, nurturing of customer relationships, and development of emerging sales talent. The Sales Director plays a key role in implementing market strategies, broadening customer outreach, and achieving measurable outcomes. Supervisory Responsibilities The Sales Director provides visionary leadership and direct guidance to the Denver sales team, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Responsibilities include: Leading, mentoring, and motivating team members to surpass sales targets. Setting clear goals and performance metrics to ensure consistent growth and development. Coaching and supporting the Account Executives and/or other sales team members to maximize their effectiveness. Building a team culture focused on collective achievement, where individual contributions lead to shared success. Collaborating with other regions and corporate leadership to align local strategies with broader national objectives. The Sales Director acts as both a strategic architect and an active participant in the sales process, ensuring that Unify Energy Solutions’ core values—Faith & Family, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence and Empowerment—are evident in all customer interactions and team initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet regional revenue goals and accelerate market growth. Personally lead business development efforts by identifying and securing new customers and key accounts in Denver and surrounding markets. Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team that values collaboration, accountability, and collective success. Provide coaching and ongoing training to enhance team members’ sales techniques, technical expertise, and overall effectiveness. Recruit top sales talent and ensure alignment with Unify Energy Solutions’ standards for excellence, innovation, and customer focus. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through active market engagement and strategic partnerships. Collaborate across departments—including marketing, operations, engineering, and finance—to align sales strategies and ensure seamless project execution. Perform market and competitive analysis to detect trends, opportunities, and challenges in the region. Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, CRM entries, and performance reporting. Present regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership, highlighting progress and identifying growth opportunities. Negotiate and close complex deals that deliver value for both customers and Unify Energy Solutions, ensuring profitable results and long-term relationships. Familiarity with building automation, energy management, or HVAC controls industry is preferred but not required. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related leadership role with a consistent record of achievement. Previous experience in managing a sales team or regional territory is strongly preferred. Proven success in strategic selling, market expansion, and key account management.
