Northwest Indiana Lighthouse Charter Schools is looking for a Director of School Culture to join us! The Director of School Culture is an instructional and strategic leader who works to create and enhance a culture of achievement and respect where high expectations and results are the norm. Our Directors of School Culture are responsible for demonstrating significant and measurable gains, each year, with all scholars. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with school leadership team to create and manage a safe and welcoming learning environment with a culture of achievement and respect * Design and implement systematic approach to managing and intervening on scholar issues based on the School Culture, Scholar/Family Handbook, and Restorative Justice * Coordinate positive programs for scholars during and after-school * Research and implement new school culture initiatives to further develop the school culture * Build a culture of achievement and respect with families, scholars and school/ network staff * Model professionalism at all times * Provide coaching and professional development on classroom management, classroom culture and Restorative Justice * Track and report behavioral data to monitor the social-emotional development of scholars * Analyze behavioral data to guide and support the creation of interventions through the Response to Intervention process * Assist leadership team with staff and scholar recruitment, as well as staff hiring Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree * Teaching experience with proven track record of raising scholar achievement scores * Proven success in turning best practices into outstanding academic results * Counseling

Responsibilities

The Director of School Culture creates a safe, respectful learning environment focused on high achievement and measurable scholar gains. They are responsible for implementing behavioral interventions, providing staff coaching on classroom culture, and analyzing social-emotional data.
