The Director of School Excellence is responsible for leading and enhancing the overall quality of educational delivery within our institution. This role focuses on ensuring high standards in quality assurance, student achievement, student assessment, and teacher performance appraisals. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader dedicated to driving continuous improvement, fostering academic excellence, and promoting a supportive, innovative environment for educators and learners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in educational leadership, including roles in quality assurance, student assessment, or teacher evaluations.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing programs that improve student achievement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement in an educational setting.
Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive quality assurance frameworks that align with the institution’s educational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with academic leaders to ensure continuous improvement in curriculum design, instructional practices, and overall school performance.
  • Conduct regular audits, evaluations, and reviews of institutional processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Student Achievement:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategies to enhance student learning outcomes, ensuring all students have access to high-quality educational experiences.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for intervention and support.
  • Coordinate with academic departments to set measurable targets and benchmarks for student success.
  • Student Assessment:
  • Design and implement robust assessment methodologies and frameworks that accurately measure student learning and growth.
  • Ensure assessments are aligned with curriculum objectives and provide actionable insights to guide instructional improvements.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of assessment data to stakeholders, facilitating a data-informed decision-making process.
  • Teacher Performance Appraisals:
  • Develop, implement, and refine performance appraisal systems to support professional growth and accountability among teaching staff.
  • Work closely with department heads to establish clear performance criteria and professional development goals for educators.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and feedback to improve instructional practices and elevate teaching standards.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Serve as a key member of the senior management team, contributing to strategic planning and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and external stakeholders to promote a shared vision for academic success and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the institution in educational forums, conferences, and community outreach initiatives.
