JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Director of School Partnerships (K12 CTE) to lead our growth in the K12 sector. This role blends business development, marketing, and thought leadership, making it ideal for someone with deep K-12 experience who is ready to shape the future of education.
You’ll build lasting relationships with schools, and guide them through adoption decisions, and position YaizY as a trusted leader in K-12 CTE.

Our credentialed instructors, engaging curriculum, and industry certifications help schools quickly launch and scale high-interest electives aligned to today’s workforce needs.
We currently partner with leading charters and districts in Texas, California, Colorado, and beyond, helping thousands of students explore careers and earn industry-based certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Proven sales experience in K-12 EdTech (e.g., PLTW, Edmentum, eDynamic Learning, Learning.com, Imagine Learning, IXL, etc.) OR experience as a district/charter school leader (e.g., Director of Curriculum, CTE Coordinator) transitioning into sales.
  • Deep understanding of K-12 decision-making and budget cycles.
  • Deep understanding of sales and marketing of EdTech products in both B2B & B2C sectors
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in B2B education.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and online.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree.
  • Prior experience working remotely in a distributed team.
  • Background in both B2B and B2C EdTech environments.
  • Experience in a target region (CA, TX, or NY).
Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Leverage your professional network and connections to build a strong client pipeline.
  • Conduct demo meetings with superintendents, principals, and CTE directors.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with district and charter leaders.
  • Help school partners with budget planning and grant opportunities to support program adoption.
  • Collaborate with the GTM Lead on regional strategies and focus areas.
  • Represent YaizY at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Marketing & Brand Representation

  • Position YaizY as a trusted thought leader in the K-12 EdTech market.
  • Manage LinkedIn presence, contribute to blogs, and create short, engaging video content to highlight programs and impact.
  • Find, organize, and host webinars, panels, or podcasts to share our expertise and connect with school leaders
  • Lead PR and GR initiatives to strengthen visibility in K-12 education.
