The Senior Director / Director of Social Media will play a critical role in shaping and quantifying Hard Rock Bet’s voice across every social platform. This position is responsible for the full social-media program lifecycle, from strategy and content creation through community building and rigorous performance measurement. With a strong focus on expanding Hard Rock Bet’s online reach and engagement, this role will develop scalable programs that contribute to acquisition, retention, and revenue generation, mitigate reputational risk, and deliver a best-in-class social presence whose business impact is unmistakable.
The ideal candidate will pair sharp creative instincts with a data-obsessed mindset, proven leadership in fast-moving, highly regulated industries, and a passion for sports betting and gaming. They should be prepared to adapt and learn as social platforms, algorithms, and audience behaviors rapidly evolve.

Responsibilities
  • Social Strategy & Roadmap: Define, develop, and execute a comprehensive, multi-platform social-media strategy that advances Hard Rock Bet’s brand identity and commercial objectives for both sportsbook and casino products.
  • Measurement & Business Impact: Design and own a robust measurement framework—including OKRs, leading/lagging KPIs, attribution models, and ROI dashboards—that connects social efforts to customer growth, engagement, and revenue; present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Content Development & Optimization: Oversee end-to-end content creation (sports highlights, short-form video, memes, long-form storytelling, etc.), ensuring every asset embodies our brand ethos; implementing experimentation and data-driven creative iteration.
  • Community Management & Engagement: Establish best practices for real-time engagement, customer care, and reputation management, fostering authentic relationships with bettors and players while upholding responsible-gaming standards.
  • Influencer & Partnership Programs: Identify, negotiate, and activate creator, athlete, musician, and brand partnerships that expand reach and credibility, tracking performance against acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of social strategists, creators, and analysts, fostering a culture of creativity, inclusivity, and data-driven iteration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, CRM, Performance Marketing, Creative, PR, and Compliance teams to ensure social initiatives support broader company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget & Vendor Oversight: Own the social-media budget, allocating resources across channels, tools, agencies, and talent for maximum efficiency and business impact.
  • Platform & Trend Monitoring: Stay at the forefront of platform updates, emerging channels, sports-betting moments, and cultural trends, ensuring Hard Rock Bet remains an innovator in social storytelling and fan engagement.
