The DSS is responsible for the following duties necessary to successfully support the residents served by LifeSTEPS. Core Duties Director of Social Services Empower low-income individuals and families to flourish by providing education and resources. Ensure our residents, specifically older adults to have an opportunity to thrive in place through housing and services. Encourage individuals and families through stable housing and supportive evidence-based services to build resilient communities. Maximize the strengths of individuals by providing client assistance, case management, service coordination, and conducting community outreach. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or any related field. Two (2) years of experience in a similar environment providing social services to multi-families, senior and children. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree A background or experience working for a non-profit would be a big plus!
