YOU IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in delivering high-performance, high-traffic websites and mobile applications in the consumer space
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, demonstrating adaptability and a “wear many hats” mentality
• Full-stack development experience with a broad range of technologies, including backend services, web applications, mobile apps, and CI/CD toolsStrong understanding of digital consumer tools and platforms (website, email, CMS, AMS)
• Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS or Google Cloud)
• Proven experience leading and managing teams of 10+ engineers
• Experience leading remote engineering teams
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and JavaExperience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with CommerceTools or other composable architectures would be beneficial
• Familiarity with AI code generation tools such as Cursor would be beneficial

ROLE LOCATION

We believe that building connections and collaborating as Pet Circlers is super important. So this role is based in Sydney with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days per week in our pet friendly offices (your pet might love coming to the office even more than you). This could change in line with business requirements.
