JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Solutions Engineering to lead our global Solutions Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with Sales Leadership to drive revenue growth by delivering best-in-class technical presales support, aligning technical solutions with customer business needs, and developing a high-performing SE team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Presales roles, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success managing and scaling high-performance SE teams in a B2B SaaS, Cloud, or Enterprise tech environment.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to bridge between business and technology.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with complex sales cycles, enterprise customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic deals and coach teams through technical objections.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Solutions Engineers across regions to support sales initiatives and drive revenue.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure alignment between customer needs and solution offerings.
  • Develop and execute scalable technical sales strategies that drive customer engagement and conversion.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor in enterprise-level sales cycles, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise.
  • Define KPIs and continuously improve SE performance metrics, customer success indicators, and win rates.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio, customer personas, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee the creation of technical content, POCs, demos, RFP responses, and presentations.
  • Champion customer feedback and collaborate with product teams to influence the roadmap.
  • Establish frameworks and training programs for continuous SE skill development and product knowledge.
