Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Spa to join our luxury resort in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As the leader of our spa operations, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining an exceptional wellness experience for our discerning guests while driving business growth and team development.

  • Oversee all aspects of spa operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize spa revenue and profitability
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of spa professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Create and manage the spa’s annual budget, including forecasting and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional strategies and packages
  • Stay current with industry trends and introduce innovative treatments and services
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain quality control standards
  • Manage inventory and supplier relationships to optimize costs and maintain product quality
  • Foster relationships with guests and handle any escalated concerns or feedback
  • Collaborate with other department heads to align spa services with overall resort offerings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in spa management, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting
  • Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and driving revenue growth
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent customer service skills and a deep understanding of guest expectations in luxury environments
  • Proficiency in spa operations management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of current spa and wellness industry trends and best practices
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies for spa services
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in the spa industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Spa management certification preferred
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
