Salary commensurate with the Act 93 Compensation Plan. The selected candidate shall be chosen based on credentials, the ability to demonstrate job functions and the successful completion of a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements.
Full-time, 12 month admin. position. Implement and maintain special education programs and related services in conformance with federal, state and district guidelines; responsible for overall management of special education programs in school district; requires extensive understanding of curriculum, budget, and federal programs; provide leadership for development of programs in areas of special education, administer special education programs. Knowledge of special education law, familiarity with current trends and procedures in special education necessary. Master’s degree in educational administration or related field required, along with demonstrated successful leadership experience. Supervisor of Special Education certification, K-12 principal certification, or Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, and experience in K-12 special education required.
