As we continue to grow and evolve our multi-brand retail footprint, we are seeking a Director of Stores to lead our store operations, elevate our customer experience, and drive sales performance across all locations.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Director of Stores is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, delivering sales and profitability targets, and fostering a customer- and team-first culture across all stores. This role requires a strategic leader who is as comfortable on the sales floor coaching managers as they are in the boardroom setting operational strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, including multiunit management (footwear or specialty retail experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving KPIs, and building highperforming teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills with a handson, teamoriented approach.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly to stores across our markets.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of District Managers and Store Managers to achieve sales, service, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement store performance strategies, including sales growth initiatives, staffing models, and KPIdriven accountability.
  • Partner with the merchandising and marketing teams to ensure product presentation, promotions, and customer experiences are aligned with company standards.
  • Maintain and elevate operational excellence, including training, compliance, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop top retail talent to strengthen leadership pipelines and reduce turnover.
  • Analyze store and district performance data to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and celebrate wins.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, reinforcing the company’s core values and ensuring all stores reflect our commitment to customer satisfaction and employee engagement and growth.
