JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The Director, Strategic Accounts develops and leads Strategic Activation Initiatives for Breakthru Beverage. Oversees Beverage Development, Special Events, New Accounts, Craft Teams, National Accounts & Key Strategic Activation programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software.
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
  • Analytic and Reporting skills.
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.
  • Experience with Margin Miner, Workflow, AX.
  • 2+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Beverage Development platform including presentations, staff trainings, cocktail and menu development. Lead forward thinking initiatives and projects.
  • Oversee all aspects of Strategic Activation team initiatives, budgets, people development, and performance.
  • Drive implementation, Prioritization and Execution of Strategic Activation programs.
  • Inspire, motivate, and lead a team of highly skilled specialists, managers, and directors.
  • Work with new accounts team, suppliers, and customers to create programs, trainings, support budgets, and overall beverage development initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee on-premise new account initiatives.
  • Coordinate and control budgets, ideation, and execution of events.
  • Be a resource and point of contact for key decision makers and influencers in the market.
  • Be a leading force and voice for the craft brands and their future growth.
  • Grow relationships at top buyer level and leverage those relationships for business opportunities.
  • Oversee key national account programs and relationships within the accounts.
  • Inspire sales and trade teams around the craft initiatives.
  • Cultivate long term relationships in key high visibility accounts.
  • Identify, recruit, launch, and incubate craft beer and spirit brands in the market.
  • Lead special event initiatives for beer, wine, spirit, and BBG programs.
  • Develop the business case and execution of craft brands and target/track craft goals.
  • Work alongside supplier, sales, and customers to deliver full-service constative programs to accounts and internal teams.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
