Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Studies to lead our academic team and uphold the high teaching standards our students expect. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in a prestigious EFL institution with a global reputation.
As Director of Studies, you will oversee all academic operations in the school, ensuring the delivery of engaging, effective, and learner-centred education. You’ll be part of a supportive leadership team and work with around 40 teaching staff (expanding seasonally) to ensure our programmes run smoothly year-round.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the academic team, including recruitment, induction, and ongoing support
  • Oversee curriculum delivery across all programmes
  • Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Support student welfare and academic progress
  • Maintain accurate academic records and reports
  • Collaborate with the School Principal and wider management team on school operations
  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
  • Liaise with HR / Talent Team to ensure safer recruitment compliance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and staff development
