THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Supply Chain to shape and execute our sourcing and supply chain strategies. This role will focus on driving strategic sourcing initiatives, strengthening supplier relationships, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and long-term value. In addition, the Director will provide leadership across procurement, contracts, logistics, and warehouse operations to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; post-graduate degree an asset.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation an asset.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ progressive leadership experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management within a manufacturing or large-scale operational environment.
  • Proven experience in contract management, with a strong understanding of legal principles and contract clauses.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Technologically savvy, with a track record of implementing innovative supply chain solutions.

  • Develop and lead strategic sourcing projects and governance, including the creation and implementation of strategic sourcing frameworks and processes to support business objectives.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, policies, and processes that drive cost savings, quality, and supply chain reliability.
  • Lead the design and rollout of tools, systems, and performance metrics to optimize procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Oversee contract management lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and organizational efficiency.
  • Establish a standardized, transparent, and compliant procurement process across all functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business priorities.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for procurement, contracts, logistics, and warehouse operations to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across contracts, logistics, warehouse, and procurement functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to resolve supplier, system, and operational issues.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in sourcing, logistics, and warehouse operations, leveraging technology and best practices.
