We’re seeking a results-driven Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end planning, procurement, and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced Tier 1 automotive environment. This is a key leadership role that shapes how materials flow, costs are managed, and performance is optimized across our manufacturing network. Oversee Purchasing, Scheduling, Inventory Management, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams, ensuring clear accountability and process alignment. Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or similar processes to balance demand, supply, and capacity while maintaining operational stability. Establish performance metrics for inventory accuracy, supplier reliability, and order fulfillment; implement corrective actions where performance gaps exist. Direct capacity and production planning efforts to ensure optimal utilization of labor, materials, and equipment resources. Collaborate cross-functionally on product launches, material transitions, and engineering changes to ensure smooth implementation and supply continuity. Partner with Finance on cost management initiatives, including material cost budgeting, savings identification, and working capital optimization. Drive adoption of ERP/MRP systems, data analytics, and digital tools to enhance visibility and decision-making accuracy. Promote a culture of continuous improvement focused on lead time reduction, service enhancement, and waste elimination. Build organizational capability within the supply chain function through clear expectations, performance development, and cross-training. Support special projects and business initiatives as required to advance operational performance. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, materials, or operations management within a manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years in a leadership role spanning multiple supply chain disciplines (purchasing, logistics, planning, etc.). Proven track record in production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory optimization in high-mix or high-volume settings. Demonstrated ability to improve on-time delivery, supplier performance, and total cost efficiency. Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and analytical tools; ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to lead through influence and foster collaboration across departments and levels. Strategic thinker with strong execution capability in dynamic operational environments. Preferences: APICS/ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification strongly preferred. Experience within injection molding, assembly, or other discrete manufacturing environments a plus. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional supply chain transformations or implementing advanced S&OP/ERP planning processes preferred.
