We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Tax to lead and manage the company’s global tax activities. The Director of Tax will be responsible for overseeing tax strategy, compliance, and planning across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the company’s continued growth and international operations. This role will work closely with senior management, finance, legal, and external advisors to ensure tax efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Responsibilities Lead and manage global tax strategy, planning, and execution. Oversee corporate income tax, indirect taxes (VAT, withholding tax), and transfer pricing matters. Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations across all operating regions. Support M&A activities, project structuring, and financing from a tax perspective. Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities. Provide tax guidance to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Monitor tax risks and developments in tax legislation relevant to the renewable energy sector. Requirements Extensive experience in tax leadership roles, preferably in multinational or infrastructure/energy companies. Strong knowledge of international tax, corporate tax, and indirect tax frameworks. Proven ability to work in a complex, global environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. CPA, tax advisor certification, or equivalent – an advantage.
