ACCOUNTABILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Supervise staff and oversee daily operations of Tec Centro workforce programs.
  • Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff performance, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
  • Recruit and train volunteers as needed to support programming.
  • Monitor program activities to ensure alignment with schedules, guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Implement program plans, coordinating logistics such as space, materials, and guest speakers.
  • Evaluate staff and volunteer performance to ensure program effectiveness and resource efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records, including enrollment, attendance, retention, job placement, personnel files, and training materials.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures that support organizational goals.
  • Lead recruitment, assessment, placement, and retention strategies for students.
  • Facilitate workforce training programs, including job readiness and soft skills development.
  • Oversee curriculum development, class scheduling, and instructional delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Workforce Development Officer to identify growth opportunities, develop new initiatives, build partnerships, and strengthen community relationships.
